Dr. Michael Steiner, a resident of Berlin and a devoted family man, is married with three daughters. He was born on March 21, 1973, in Nuremberg, when he started his journey through life and career.

He moved to Bielefeld in 1973, followed by another move to Regensburg in 1980. In 1992, he successfully completed his Abitur in Neutraubling/Regensburg. Subsequently, he embarked on a banking apprenticeship with Bayerische Vereinsbank in Regensburg, a commitment that spanned until 1994.

His academic pursuits led him to study law and economics in Bayreuth and Berlin from the winter semester of 1994/95 to the summer semester of 1999. Following his academic journey, Dr. Steiner underwent a legal clerkship at the Higher Regional Court of Nuremberg from 1999 to 2001.

In 2002, he was admitted to the bar and founded his own law firm in Berlin. In the same year, he graduated from the University of Bayreuth as a business lawyer focusing on banking and finance.

He completed his doctoral studies, earning the title of Dr. jur. from the University of Bayreuth in 2006. The year 2007 marked his admission to the bar at the Chamber Court.

From 2011 to 2015, Michael served as a member of the board of the Berlin Bar Association. In 2012, he attained recognition as a specialist lawyer for labor law.

Notably, Michael assumed the role of a judge at the Bar Court from 2016 to 2021 then returned to the board of the Berlin Bar Association; in the same year, he achieved his appointment as a notary.
