Ignacio Alonso has been working for more than 25 years in the fields of distribution, agency and franchises law, as well as in corporate matters both for national and for international groups with interests in Spain.

His expertise in distribution law includes, amongst other aspects, the drafting of contracts, counselling and advice in distribution and franchise networks management, or the judicial or alternative dispute resolutions. In corporate matters, he has acted as Secretary of the Board and Attorney in several companies.

He is founding partner of Even Abogados (Madrid), “country expert” for Spain at the International Distribution Institute (Turin), mediator, and arbitrator of the IDArb/SCAI (Geneva) for international disputes resolution in distribution matters.

Ignacio has taught as Associate Professor at the Autónoma University (Madrid), at the European Studies Centre at the University of Alcalá de Henares (Madrid) and he is speaker in international forums. He has a degree in law by the University of Comillas (ICADE-Madrid), a Licence Spéciale at the Institut d’Études Européennes (University of Brussels) and a Master Degree in Taxation (Centro de Estudios Financieros, Madrid). He is also the author of several publications and articles on commercial distribution.

He is fluent in English, French, Italian and Spanish.
