Katja Besseghini is an Italian lawyer specializing in business law, with a focus on commercial distribution (sales concession, agency, franchising), particularly, though not exclusively, in reference to the market for digital products and services.

For years she has been studying business law and ethics extended to the economy of the third sector, its organizational and operating models, and personal data protection law, also working as an external DPO for leading corporate realities.

A law graduate from the Catholic University of Milan, she embarked on her professional career after spending a year in Ireland, immediately devoting herself to commercial corporate law, first in international firms, then, at the age of forty as a partner in an independent firm composed of some thirty professionals, then as founder of Leexè.

She has been a member of the Milan Bar since 2001 and is a partner in the law firm Leexè.

She is president of Fondazione Tetrabondi ONLUS, Secretary General of Fondazione Memoriale della Shoah di Milano ONLUS, member of the Banking Law and Third Sector Commission of the Milan Bar Association, author of publications dealing with commercial distribution law.
