Olivier Hayat mainly deals with IT law (assistance in negotiations, drafting and review of complex projects) and personal data law (implementation of personal data processing and GDPR compliance, audit of processing and roadmap for implementing recommendations). He also advises on commercial and contractual law, in setting up BtoB contracts (distribution and partnership contracts, general purchase conditions) and BtoC contracts (terms of service, subscription conditions). He practices both in advice and litigation.

Olivier is a member of Paris Bar since 2006. After having worked for Parisian Law firms specialized in IP and IT Law, he founded his own law firm focusing on digital law in 2014. He regularly advises both start-ups and major accounts to implement their projects’ (incorporation, fund raising, legal compliance assessment…), as well as project owners and investors.

He is a member of various professional associations, including the French association of Data Personal Officer and the AIJA (International Association of Young Lawyers) and is partner of the FrenchTech in Bordeaux and the Business School Incubator ESSEC Ventures.

Olivier’s working languages are French (mother-tongue) and English.
