Ville Salonen

Ville Salonen is a seasoned entrepreneur, advisor, and legal counsel with over two decades of experience across various sectors, including law, business consulting, and corporate governance. He is currently the founder and principal advisor at Prunus Consulting, where he provides strategic counsel to a wide range of companies. Additionally, Ville serves as the Chairman of the Board at Tampere United and has been an active board member for several companies, including Työmaapalvelut Express Oy, Rakennus Grahn Oy, and Grahn Vahinkosaneeraus Oy, with a focus on Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) issues.

Prior to his entrepreneurial ventures, Ville was a Partner and Head of ESG & Sustainability at Magnusson, a prominent law firm, where he also co-headed the Tampere office. His leadership extended internationally as Chairman of Magnusson International and as a key player in various board-level roles, such as with Joblink Oy and the Finnish Football Association. Ville’s legal career began in the late 1990s, and over the years, he has cultivated extensive expertise in corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, and strategic business development.

Throughout his career, Ville has been deeply involved in sports organizations, including his leadership role with Tampereen Pallo-Veikot Ry and his managerial work with the Tampereen Ilves Women’s Football Team. His broad skill set and leadership across diverse industries make him a respected figure in both legal and entrepreneurial circles.
