Thomas Thiébaut is a French lawyer who specializes in tax.

He spent almost 10 years in the French tax administration where he was in charge of tax audits of companies with a turnover of between 1 and 200 million euros.

Since 2011, Thomas is a tax lawyer and partner in his firm.

His clients are mainly small and medium-sized companies for which he advises both the company for any tax matter (domestic or international) and the managers and their families for the management of the shares they own, the real estate of the manager and the company, as well as the questions of transmission of assets and inheritance tax.

Thomas also advises several large groups on a day-to-day basis, and also on the taxation of derivatives financial instruments like swap, forward, and option (currency and interest rate hedging).

He also has extensive experience in insurance taxation, having advised insurance companies for more than 10 years.

Thomas also assists his clients in tax audits with the tax authorities and in litigation before the courts.

He has taught at the University of Paris-Dauphine, as well as at several professional training organizations. He has also published regularly in professional publications, such as LexisNexis.

Thomas has also been involved for many years in charitable projects with Rotary International, for which he has served as general secretary of the Paris district and president of its club.

He is a native French speaker and speaks fluently in English.
