Roberto Hayer is a Swiss lawyer, experienced in corporate/M&A, contract and private client matters.

Roberto started his carrier in the year 1993. He has practiced as a lawyer in Basel, Madrid and since 1994 in Zurich, working inter alia as partner of large and boutique law firms with a focus on international clientele. Since 2012, he is a partner of REBER Rechtsanwälte, Zurich (www.reberlaw.ch).

He completed his law studies at the University of Basel in 1989, subsequently worked as a law clerk at the Appellate Court of Basel and was admitted to the Swiss Bar in 1993. He completed a Master in European Law from Universidad Complutense Madrid in 1994 and studied international copyright law at the University of Amsterdam in 2001. He is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (MCIArb) since 2014.

Roberto has vast experience in international projects in the area of corporate/M&A and contracts and he advises clients in estate law matters and represents them in law disputes and arbitration matters. He also advises private clients in estate planning matters affecting Switzerland.

He holds several positions as member of the board of directors of Swiss corporations, inter alia a Swiss private bank, a sports marketing company and several industrial companies. Roberto’s working languages are German, English, Spanish and French. In addition, he speaks Italian and Catalan.
