Renato Bucher is an experienced commercial lawyer. He works in the Zurich office of the law firm Meyerlustenberger Lachenal Ltd (MLL).
Renato supports established businesses and start-ups in legal matters during the entire lifecycle of distribution relationships. He provides legal advice on the implementation of new distribution systems (distribution, agency, franchising agreements etc.), but also defends his clients’ interests when business relationships become contentious.
His practice further covers a variety of other commercial agreements, such as development, manufacturing, supply, consignment and licensing agreements as well as General Terms and Conditions (GTCs). Renato gained a sound understanding of distribution-related aspects of antitrust law, with a focus on vertical agreements and abuse of dominance matters.
Within his practice areas, Renato frequently represents clients in complex domestic and cross-border litigation as well as in administrative (court) proceedings. His practice covers a broad range of industries such as life sciences, luxury goods, furniture, fashion and FMCG. Renato’s professional experiences also includes a secondment with the legal department of a leading European FMCG company.
