Nicolas Thieltgen is a Luxembourg lawyer (avocat à la Cour) and a member of the Luxembourg bar since 2001. He is the Founder and Managing Partner of Brucher, Thieltgen & Partners. He heads the Banking & Finance department, advising his clients (mainly professionals from the financial sector) on the Luxembourg and international regulatory context and on their financing operations. He is also recognised for his expertise in banking and finance litigation and his extensive experience in shareholder disputes.

Nicolas is devoted to the legal community. He is the President of the Luxembourg association promoting the banking and finance law (Association Luxembourgeoise des Juristes de Droit Bancaire “ALJB”). He is also Honorary Secretary General at the International Association of Young Lawyer  (Association Internationale des Jeunes Avocats “AIJA”) and was an elected member of the Luxembourg Bar Council between 2018 and 2020.

He holds a Master degree in Law from the University of Louvain (Belgium).
