Kortan Toygar is a Turkish lawyer specializing in cross border transaction, M&A, corporate governance, and white-collar crime. Most of his clients are multinational companies having direct and/or indirect relations in Turkey.

Kortan has LLB degree at Marmara University Law School Istanbul 2003 and holding LLM degree at Tulane Law School, New Orleans 2005, USA.

He is admitted to New York Bar in 2006 and Istanbul Bar in 2008. Kortan is one of the founding partners of Yalcin & Toygar Law Firm since 2008.

Kortan has also held the seat of national representative for Turkey of the International Young Lawyers (AIJA – International Association of Young Lawyers).

Apart from professional life, he has played basketball in various teams in the past and now enjoys hiking, motorcycles, and fishing & boating.
