Ignacio Alonso has been working for more than 35 years in the field of distribution, agency, and franchising, as well as in corporate law, representing national and foreign groups with interests in Spain.

His experience in the field of distribution includes drafting contracts, advising on the organization of franchisee and distributor networks, and judicial and extrajudicial conflict management, among other areas.

In corporate matters, he serves as Secretary of the Board and Legal Advisor to several companies with an international component, advising on mergers and acquisitions.

He is a founding partner of Even Abogados (Madrid) and Country Expert for Spain at the International Distribution Institute (Turin). He is an arbitrator for international disputes in distribution matters and a mediator at the Madrid Bar Association.

Ignacio has taught courses at the Autonomous University (Madrid) as an associate professor, at the Center for European Studies at the University of Alcalá de Henares, and has given lectures at various international forums. Since 2021, he has been teaching the team negotiation course at Carlos III University in Madrid. He holds a law degree from the University of Comillas (ICADE), a Licence Spéciale in European Law from the University of Brussels, a Master’s degree in Taxation from the Center for Financial Studies (Madrid), and is an “executive coach” from the European School of Coaching (Madrid-Barcelona).

He is also the author of several publications on commercial distribution (agency, distribution, franchising).

He works in English, French, Italian, and Spanish.
