David Toy is a US lawyer representing individuals and entities, domestic and foreign, in a wide variety of civil matters, including commercial business litigation, admiralty and maritime claims, and business transactions. He represents individuals and entities in cross-border transactions and (now, primarily) litigation in a unique international practice, including representation of US and overseas ocean transportation intermediaries, overland freight forwarders, as well as vessel and cargo interests in admiralty and maritime disputes.

David is the principal of his own practice, David Toy Law Firm.  He is admitted to practice in California, Texas and New York, and is qualified to practice before all United States District Courts in California and Texas, as well as the Southern District of New York.  He is also admitted to practice before the United States Court of Appeals for the Second and Fifth Circuits.

David received his law degree from Golden Gate University in San Francisco, California, and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Davis.

David is a native English speaker, but maintains close connections with reputable translators and interpreters of multiple languages to assist with matters requiring those services.
