Cathaline Batier is a French lawyer based in Lyon specializing in international taxation and transfer pricing.

She spent more than 15 years in international multidisciplinary structures where she acquired recognized expertise in transfer pricing and international taxation, as well as skills to work in an international context.

Cathaline founded her own tax firm in January 2023 with the aim of offering the clients a pedagogical and pragmatic approach to making transfer pricing and international taxation issues more understandable, in particular through a legal design approach.

Her clients are small and medium-sized companies (SMEs) established internationally as well as international groups.

Cathaline advises clients on all transfer pricing issues (e.g., design and documentation of transfer pricing policies, benchmarking studies), international tax issues (e.g., permanent establishment analysis), application of VAT rules in an international context as well as the analysis of customs duties. She has also developed expertise on tax issues specific to the agri-food industry.

She also assists clients in tax audit and litigation procedures (client assistance during the audit, negotiation with the French tax authorities, conduct of mutual agreement procedures).
