Dr. Alexander Lentz is a certified labor law attorney from Hamburg. He handles employment matters all over Germany, ranging from individual employee termination disputes up to complex collective bargaining agreements for several thousand employees. If necessary, clients can also rely on Alex’s longstanding litigation experience, including successfully winning several landmark decisions before the German Federal Labor Court.
Following a PhD dealing with the collective labor law of the Republic of South Africa, Alex started his career in the labor law department of an international law firm in Hamburg, where he then worked in different functions for one and a half decades.
Alex is a recognized expert in his field, recently listed by leading German business publication HANDELSBLATT / Best Lawyers for labor law in Germany in 2017/2018. He is a member of the working group on labor law of the German Bar Association. Alex has also been the Vice-President and President of the labor law commission of the International Association of Young Lawyers (AIJA) between 2003 and 2008.
He is German native speaker and fluent in English.
