Aamr Khafaf is a highly respected lawyer and founder of Khafaf Law Office, located in Erbil, Iraq. With over 22 years of experience in the legal field, Aamr has served in both government and non-governmental institutions. He began his career working with various United Nations agencies in different roles and later served as a legal consultant for international organizations, assisting local parliaments and governments in drafting new legislation and providing legal advice.

Aamr has also gained valuable experience working with the Kurdistan Regional Government, Regional Parliament, and international NGOs. He served as the Expert| Director of Legal Affairs at the KRG-Council of Ministries-Department of NGOs for 12 years, where he demonstrated his deep understanding of legal matters and expert knowledge of the Iraqi legal system.

He obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Law in 2007 and later went on to earn another Bachelor’s degrees in Social science, as well as a Master’s degree in Politics and International Studies from UKH University in 2015.
