Anna Sartor

Anna Sartor graduated in Public Comparative Law at Padua University, Italy, in 2010, with a final dissertation about “Turkey and Europe” because of her interest into the legal, social and economic systems of Muslim countries and of Turkey as country “between” the latter and Europe.

She has been admitted to the Italian bar association in 2014 and she has been gaining significate experience in Italy working with Italian law firms and a businessman association assisting clients on international matters also involving the United Arab Emirates and the Gulf Cooperation Council countries.

In 2016 she moved to the United Arab Emirates with the aim to have a real and practical legal and cultural experience and knowledge “in and of” the country.

She has gained local expertise regarding legal affairs in the United Arab Emirates and the GCC countries while working at the Italian Desk of a leading local law firm practicing in the territory for over 10 years.

She has been providing strategic legal advice, establishing businesses, managing cross-border legal compliance, drafting, reviewing as well as assisting in the negotiation, execution and termination of agreements and handling litigation in favor of both individuals and companies operating in various business (oil, refrigeration and air conditioning, fashion, eyewear, organization and management of events, sport, food and beverage).

Recently she founded Anna Legal Consultacy, a firm specialised in legal, administrative and corporate matters offering legal counsel to private and corporate clients either already present in the United Arab Emirates or interested in expanding their business abroad.

Anna is specialised in corporate and commercial consultancy, although her practice spans also employment, tenancy and intellectual property rights law. Further, cooperating with selected law firms, she provides assistance also in the other Gulf Cooperation Council countries as well as in different fields (e.g. private/family matters).

She speaks Italian and English.
