Sebastian Harschneck

Sebastian Harschneck is a German lawyer specializing in corporate law and M&A, with a particular focus on foreign investors, and in dispute resolution across all areas of commercial law. He is managing partner of Maxfeld.legal, a business law firm based in Nuremberg, Germany, dedicated to cross-border matters.

A core part of his work is advising foreign investors on entering the German market, whether by setting up their own company, acquiring a shareholding, or forming a joint venture with a German partner. He also represents companies in shareholder disputes and in disputes with business partners, and acts as external general counsel on day-to-day commercial and contract matters.

Admitted to both the German and the Bulgarian Bar, he is a partner of LYNX Bulgaria, where he established the Sofia office in 2013. Clients thus gain access to two legal systems through a single advisor, without an intermediary.

His industry experience covers mechanical engineering, wholesale and retail, automotive, pharmaceuticals and medical technology, and construction. He has a particular focus on the transport sector and on the specific requirements of truck tolling, including complex regulatory matters such as representing EETS toll providers vis-à-vis the German state.

Sebastian studied law at the University of Passau, with additional studies at the Siberian Federal University in Krasnoyarsk, and was admitted to the German Bar in 2009. He has been advising on corporate and M&A transactions ever since.
