Meldir Erbulekova

Meldir Erbulakova is a lawyer specializing in intellectual property and information protection. She also provides comprehensive legal support to foreign clients operating in Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.

Meldir is the founder and managing partner of the legal firms Matias and Amigdala, established in 2020. With over 13 years of experience, she advises international companies on intellectual property protection, digital regulation, and legal support for technological projects.

Before founding her own practice, Meldir headed the intellectual property practice at the international law firm Gowling and successfully represented clients in disputes related to trademarks, copyrights, and domain names.

In addition to her legal practice, Meldir actively participates in research projects in the field of IT law, teaches, and publishes articles on the legal regulation of technology and the internet.

She holds a degree in International Law from the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO), obtained in 2012, and a Master’s degree in Intellectual Property Law from the Kutafin Moscow State Law University (MSAL), earned in 2014.

Meldir is fluent in Russian, Kazakh, English, and French.
