Kinga Kelemen is a Budapest-based lawyer with over 15 years of experience advising international clients in the pharmaceutical, healthcare, and medical device industries. Her practice focuses on issues related to pharmaceutical law, regulation, compliance, advertising, distribution, and market access, including complex interactions with national authorities.
Kinga regularly assists clients in creating and reviewing patient support programs, drafting internal policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs), negotiating clinical trial and distribution agreements, and navigating industry-specific ethical frameworks. She has extensive experience representing clients before the Hungarian Medicines Agency and the Hungarian Competition Authority, particularly in promotional compliance and consumer protection cases involving over-the-counter (OTC) medicines, medical devices, dietary supplements, and cosmetics.
Her professional practice also includes copyright and advertising law, as well as employment matters affecting the life sciences industry. In addition to her consulting work, Kinga has contributed to the development of guidelines and codes of ethics for the Hungarian pharmaceutical industry.
Kinga graduated from Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE) with a law degree and a postgraduate degree in European Law from the ELTE Institute for Postgraduate Legal Studies (2006). She also holds a master’s degree in German and has worked in academics in Germany and Austria.
She spent 14 years at SBGK, a leading Hungarian law firm specializing in intellectual property and commercial law, before founding her own firm, KPLI Law, in 2015.
