Giovanni Izzo is an Italian lawyer specialized in corporate and commercial law as well as in the real estate and construction sectors.
He deals with M&A transactions and assists various listed and not listed European companies in their corporate management and commercial contractual operations.
He has gained a solid experience in those areas of practice, in particular in the real estate and tourism sectors, working on a large number of transactions involving important building complexes, as well as leases and sales of hotels and hotel companies.
He is fluent in English, French and Spanish. This has enabled him to build strong professional relationships with international clients, that have chosen him as their advisor for their investments in Italy.
Having obtained his Law degree from La Sapienza, University of Rome, he is a member of the Rome Bar since 1997 and was admitted to practice before the Italian Supreme Court since 2009; he is managing partner of Abbatescianni Studio legale e Tributario.
He is a member of AIJA and of American Bar Association Section of International Law.
He joined as a speaker and moderator several conferences and debates, both in Italy and abroad, and is the author of several articles and publications on commercial law, including in the English and French language.
Since 2008 he appears amongst Italian contributors for Doing Business, the World Bank annual report on the legal and fiscal framework applicable to businesses in over 180 countries.
