Giacomo is an Italian lawyer who leads the Intellectual Property department at Cocuzza & Associati assisting both Italian and foreign companies in protecting or disposing of intangible assets. He deals with all matters related to the use and protection of intellectual property, both in and out of Court, with particular focus on trademarks, patents, designs, utility models, know-how, trade secrets an unfair competition.
He deals with all issues connected to negotiation and drafting of transfer, license, distribution, franchising, merchandising, sponsorship, advertising and technology transfer agreements, according to the applicable IP regulations.
Giacomo also deals with all issues related to the processing of personal data, including data protection compliance, and cross-border data flows.
He is a member of a number of associations, like AIPPI – International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property, INTA – International Trademark Association, INTA – Non-Traditional Marks Committee for 2018 and 2019.
He speaks and works in Italian and English.
