The professional activity of Tomas Rybar is mainly focused on the fields of corporate & commercial as well as labour & employment. Tomas has particular sector knowledge in the fields of pharmaceuticals, transportation and postal services. Tomas has been involved as lead counsel in a number of significant privatisation and M&A transactions, in particular in the fields of telecommunications, energy, food, travel and life sciences.

Tomas is a partner at Cechova & Partners in Bratislava, Slovakia.

Tomas graduated from the Law Faculty of Comenius University, Bratislava, Slovakia and received his M.A in 2001.

He is personally recommended in Chambers Europe, Chambers Global and Legal 500.

Tomas is a member of the Advisory Board of Slovak Compliance Circle, Foreign Affairs Committee of the Slovak Bar Association and of the Executive Committee of the International Association of Young Lawyers. Tomas is a member of Team Europe – a group of experts on EU matters organised by the Delegation of the European Commission in the Slovak Republic and served as a lecturer for the Delegation of the European Commission and the Government Office of the Slovak Republic.
