With an experience of more than 20 years, Dinu Petre’s main areas of competence are tax, gambling law and insolvency. He provides consultancy services and resolution for litigation issues relating to fiscal contentious, managing complex issues in relation with the fiscal authorities. He also successfully managed the structuring of several business take-overs covering industries such as: online commerce, IT, gambling, media distribution, as well as in fiscal contentious litigations for local and international clients.

Dinu’s expertise covers general legal assistance services, drafting of legal deeds, contracts between commercial partners, creation of collateral guarantees system, litigations, recovering of goods and all related activities.

Dinu started to build a legal career after his graduation, in 1996 in Bucharest, Romania and he is a member of Bucharest Bar Association, since then. In 1997 he joined Cunescu, Balaciu & Asociații team, becoming a partner in 1999, and managing partner in 2003 – a function he still currently holds. Dinu has developed the gambling law department in Cunescu, Balaciu & Asociatii.

He is the author of several publications mainly in the area of fiscal procedural law.

Dinu is fluent in Romanian and English.
