Martin Preslmayr is a well-known Austrian lawyer specializing in litigation and international arbitration, corporate, M&A, labor, white collar crime, product liability, product safety, and in family law.
He has graduated in Law in 1992 (Master of Law; University of Vienna) and has been conferred a Doctorate in 1994 (Doctor iuris; University of Vienna). He also has earned a postgraduate Master degree in European Legal Studies (LL.M.; University of Exeter, England).
Martin, a bar admitted attorney since 1996, is the founder and CEO of the Austrian law firm preslmayr.legal (www.preslmayr.legal).
Martin is a listed Arbitrator both at the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) Austria and at the Viennese Chamber of Commerce (WKW). In addition, he regularly advises as counsel in arbitration matters. He also is a well-known litigator.
Martin is an author of numerous publications: Handbuch der Produkthaftung (Handbook of Product Liability), numerous contributions to legal journals, creator and columnist of “§-Wissen” in the Austrian daily Der Standard, and others.
Martin has been admitted to the Bar Association Vienna since 1996.
He is a member of the Austrian Arbitration Association, the Association of Austrian Criminal Lawyers and the International Bar Association.
