Maria Rubert is a Spanish and US lawyer, registered with the Dubai Ruler’s Court and the DIFC Courts. She is specialized in arbitration, corporate & commercial law, real estate and labor law.
Maria holds a bachelor of laws from the University Alfonso X El Sabio and a LLM from the American University Washington College of Law.
Prior to reaching Dubai, she worked on arbitration and commercial law positions for private companies, institutions and government.
Since she arrived in Dubai, she has developed substantial expertise in the fields of corporate structure, real estate and employment, having an international and UAE-based clientele.
In parallel to her counsel role, Maria is listed as arbitrator with major arbitration centers in the Middle East and Africa.
She is an active member of the Spanish speaking community in the UAE, currently acting as Vice Chairman of the Spanish Business Council.
Maria often acts as speaker for universities, entrepreneur groups and legal organizations.
