Mara Chilosi is a lawyer admitted at the Bar Association of Milan advising companies, public bodies, trade associations, especially with regard to waste management, water discharges, environmental authorizations and, more generally, to pollution matters. She gained significant experience in packaging, cross-border waste transport and extended producer liability.
Since 2002 she is auditor and legislative expert for environmental management systems according to ISO 14001 and Emas standards. Since 2010 Mara is coordinator of the scientific committee of Assorecuperi-Confcommercio Imprese per l’Italia. Since 2016 she has participated in the technical committee of Anpar-Fise Unire (end of waste working group).
Mara carries out environmental and safety audits, due diligence relating to the purchase of land or industrial plants or to company acquisitions, environmental and safety risk assessments. She takes care of the implementation of the organization, management and control models pursuant to Legislative Decree 231/2001 and participates in supervisory bodies. She carries out training and auditing activities on compliance models.
She assists her clients and provides technical consultancy also in judicial proceedings concerning corporate liability.
As a management consultant, Mara offers her support, even in crisis situations, in the assumption of strategic and organizational choices, in the training of senior managers and in the definition of power systems.
Mara is the author of several publications and has participated as a speaker at numerous conferences and training initiatives, including in the academic sphere.
She is Italian mother tongue and speaks fluently in English.
