Klara Dvorakova is a leading travel law specialist. She also advises clients on professional liability and sports law.
She is partner of Holubová advokáti s.r.o. Law Firm, with office in Prague, Czech Republic. Her clients are predominantly tour operators, travel agents, hotels and other travel businesses, whom she advises on how to get started or realize new projects.
Klara has also an excellent EU law background, with a solid experience before the European Court of Justice in Luxembourg and before the European Commission. Klara gained special attention in Czech media after successfully representing numerous clients of bankrupted tour operators in disputes regarding the insurance claims. The case law of the Constitutional Court and the Supreme Court which Klara helped to establish, resulted in a change of legislation.
She is also an experienced professional liability lawyer, with a special interest in personal injury cases caused by medical malpractice, accidents during travelling and sports – especially climbing or mountaineering. Klara currently acts as a chief of the Legal Experts Working Group of the International Climbing and Mountaineering Federation (UIAA) and gives regular lectures on Medical Law in Management in Healthcare MBA programme for the Business Institute in Prague and the Cambridge Business School in Prague.
She speaks Czech, English, and has a limited knowledge of French.
