Ferenc Ballegeer has been a lawyer since 2001 and is a member of the Brussels Bar (Belgium).

Ferenc founded FB-Tax in 2012. FB-Tax assists international and Belgian private individuals, entrepreneurs, expats and companies with regard to tax law, property law and estate planning. Ferenc is an active member of the International Association of Young Lawyers (AIJA) and chairs the Regional Taxes Task Force of the American Chamber of Commerce in Belgium (AmCham Belgium).

He advises and represents clients in complex tax matters and in succession and family issues, often internationally.

He is invited regularly as a speaker on estate planning and tax topics.

Ferenc graduated as a lawyer at the University of Leuven (KU Leuven) and obtained a tax degree at the Ecole Supérieure des Sciences Fiscales (ICHEC) in Brussels. He also holds a master of notarial law (LL.M) from the University of Brussels (VUB), where he is also a teaching assistant.

In the early years of his career, Ferenc obtained several years of experience as in-house counsel at a major bank in Belgium.

Ferenc works in Dutch, French and English and speaks German.
